District Election Officer Commends BLOs in Shravasti as Voter Digitisation Drive Gains Momentum

The voter digitisation drive in Shravasti has accelerated, with the District Election Officer praising BLOs for timely progress. With 82% of records already digitised under the active supervision of DM Ashwani Pandey, the administration pushes to complete the voter revision process within schedule, improving electoral transparency.

The voter revision exercise in Shravasti has entered a decisive phase, with the District Election Officer praising Booth Level Officers (BLOs) for accelerating on-ground work and meeting key timelines. The administration has reported significant progress in the ongoing digitisation of voter records—an effort considered crucial ahead of upcoming electoral processes.

According to the district administration, out of a total 817,848 registered voters in Shravasti, digitisation of nearly 82 percent of entries has already been completed. Officials attribute this rapid advancement to the active supervision and daily monitoring led by District Magistrate Ashwani Pandey, whose oversight has helped streamline procedures and address field challenges more efficiently.

The District Election Officer urged BLOs to maintain the current pace and ensure that the voter revision tasks are completed within the prescribed schedule. The official noted that the improvements recorded in recent weeks point to better coordination, clearer communication channels, and stronger accountability mechanisms across the election machinery.

As Shravasti continues to push toward full voter record digitisation, the administration believes the progress made so far will significantly improve the accuracy and transparency of the electoral roll. The intensified efforts, officials said, represent an important step toward strengthening democratic preparedness at the grassroots level.
